NURSING
This part of the Web site of the Kyrgyz Association of Family Practitioners is devoted to the principles of nursing in primary practice, describes nursing diagnosis, and groups of medications with appropriate nursing interventions.
This Web-site is meant for people who have no professional medical training, but have to take care of patients and old people. The site is developed by teachers and students of the St.Dimitry School of Mercy Nursing. The manual is based on their own experience in patient care, training materials from foreign partners, and publications in professional periodicals.
These training materials were developed through the Tacis Project in Karelia (Russia). They include basic principles, values, theories and models of nursing care process.
St. Petersburg Postgraduate School of Nursing is involved in an AIHA partnership program since 1993. For the School this affiliation has helped to develop progressive nursing education in order to better reflect international standards for nursing. On the Web site you can find information on the education curriculum, training opportunities, news and events.
